Before purchasing a pre-1978 constructed residential property it is always prudent to have LeadSafe Inspection and Consulting, Inc. conduct an environmental lead inspection to find out if the residence is lead safe. As Lead Paint inspectors we conduct a room by room inspection of all surfaces from ceiling to floor with our X-Ray Florescence (XRF) machine. Under Title X of federal law you have 10 days within signing the purchase and sales agreement to request a lead inspection. This inspection is usually conducted at the same time as the regular home inspection. The inspection usually generates a 10 – 15 page report.
